Basic Pistol I

This class is for beginners and those who want to learn the firearm shooting fundamentals. Protective gear, targets, firearms are provided in this class but feel free to bring your own firearm and protective gear if you have them. The course topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Firearm Safety Rules
  • Pistol Cleaning (If requested)
  • Fundamentals of sight alignment and shooting
  • Live fire - Each student will load, fire and unload their handgun
  • Defensive shooting skills
  • Class price: $65/person + $12.50 Range fee for the first student and $22 for each additional student per Gateway Rifle and Pistol club + Ammo cost
  • Gun Rental: $10
  • Class length: 2.5 to 3 hours
